What would become known as Exit
Sign Productions was first brought to life in 2002 by Logan Johns, then
a recent graduate of Lincoln High School in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
While attending the Specs Howard
School of
Broadcast Arts, Logan excelled in his production courses and
quickly
realized that his skills
would be best put to use by hiring himself out to family members and colleagues who could use his
expertise. He started filming weddings for
friends and family members while continuing his education.
Meanwhile, 400 miles away,
another Lincoln High School graduate was completing his degree in Media
Production and New Technology at Northern Michigan University.
Adam Czarnecki was a good friend of Logan's, and the two were presented
with the opportunity to film theatrical productions at their old high
school during their school breaks.
Adam
and Logan began to film and produce DVDs for the
students, parents, and
community members, and it was a tremendous hit! The name "Exit
Sign Productions" was coined as the duo developed more ambitions.
Now, the list of weddings,
on-stage productions, and other events has grown. While both Logan and Adam
currently hold other
part-time jobs in the media industry, "Exit Sign Productions," is where
they hope to make a future. Because of the local, small
business approach, they have been able to offer extraordinarily low
prices as compared to some of the other, bigger audio/visual companies
around the area. Take a look for yourself, or feel free to
contact them with any
questions!
